PRN Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

As a PRN Home Health Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll enjoy the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. Home health gives you the opportunity to provide personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of each patient’s home, build meaningful relationships, and see the direct impact of your clinical expertise. With greater autonomy and flexibility, you can focus on what matters most—delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while balancing your professional and personal priorities.

At InterimHealthCare, we believe exceptional patient care starts with exceptional support for our nurses. For 60 years, we have been committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a culture built on collaboration, respect, and clinical excellence. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values your expertise, encourages your professional growth, and gives you the resources and support needed to focus on delivering the best possible care. At Interim HealthCare, you’re more than a nurse—you’re a valued member of a team dedicated to making a difference, one patient and one visit at a time.

As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you'll enjoy:

  • Schedule: PRN visits available

  • Wage: Competitive compensation ranging from $55.00 to $95.00 per visit, based on visit type.

  • 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios where you impact outcomes

  • Flexible assignments, autonomy and work-life balance

  • Online training, growth and ability to earn CEUs

  • Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University

In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by:

  • Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility

  • Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient care

  • Examine patients, do assessments, document progress and report changes to their physician

  • Educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exercise

  • Coach family members on the patient’s plan of care, medication and home safety

  • Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services

A few must-haves for Home Health Registered Nurses:

  • 1 year of home healthcare experience

  • Oasis experience required

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in FL

  • Must maintain current CPR certification, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

  • Strong clinical nursing expertise with a thorough understanding of state and federal home health regulations, complemented by excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Why Work for InterimHealthCare?

At Interim HealthCare, we believe that exceptional patient care begins with supporting the nurses who deliver it. Our culture is built around respect, collaboration, and ensuring our nurses have the resources, flexibility, and leadership support they need to succeed. For 60 years, we have been committed to creating an environment where nurses are valued for their clinical expertise, encouraged to grow professionally, and empowered to provide personalized, patient-centered care. With more than 300 locations nationwide, Interim HealthCare offers the support of an established organization while fostering a team-oriented environment where you can build meaningful relationships, make a difference in the lives of patients and families, and develop a rewarding, long-term career.
