Job Summary
Loenbro is seeking a Structural Foreman to provide direct, hands-on supervision of structural construction crews on assigned projects. The Structural Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.

Working under the direction of the Superintendent and Project Management team, the Structural Foreman plays a critical role in coordinating labor, materials, equipment, and work sequencing, while serving as the primary field-level leader for assigned crews.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Execute daily work plans as directed by the Superintendent and Project Manager.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Participate in job site safety planning and ensure all personnel work safely and use required PPE.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and tools to support daily work activities.
  • Read and interpret erection, fabrication, and structural drawings.
  • Assist with lift planning and rigging activities, including understanding load charts and equipment capabilities.
  • Ensure proper installation, alignment, and quality of structural components.
  • Support the company's quality control program by identifying deficiencies and addressing issues promptly.
  • Assist with short-term planning (daily and weekly work planning, including look-ahead tasks).
  • Direct supervision of assigned structural field crews.
  • Lead, mentor, and train craft personnel to support skill development and safe work practices.
  • Assign daily work tasks and provide clear direction and expectations.
  • Enforce company safety policies and job site safety requirements.
  • Communicate crew needs, performance, and issues to the Superintendent.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Independent, self-motivated leader with strong field communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise crews and perform hands-on structural work as needed.
  • Strong understanding of structural construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of rigging, bull rigging, and lift planning.
  • Understanding of load charts and equipment capabilities.
  • Ability to solve practical problems in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in industrial construction environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a foreman or lead role within structural construction.
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Knowledge of welding procedures and structural quality requirements.
  • Experience working on large-scale industrial or commercial projects.
