We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Journeyman who wants to take ownership of their work, lead installs, and play a key role in a growing, in-demand energy sector.


This is a lead-from-the-front role, you’ll take pride in your installs, guide apprentices and technicians, and directly impact the quality and reliability of power in our customers’ homes.

Location & Travel

  • Field-based role supporting Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania, Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Delaware
  • Daily travel from home to residential customer job sites
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided
  • Travel from home to your first job and from your last job home is considered your normal commute
  • If travel to the first or last job exceeds 45 minutes, additional time is compensated
  • All travel between job sites throughout the day is fully compensated
  • Weekly Monday team meetings at our corporate office in Middle River, MD:
  • Review upcoming jobs
  • Stock vehicles and materials
  • Set the week up for success

A typical week might include:

  • Leading a full installation of a whole-home standby generator with automatic transfer switch
  • Troubleshooting and repairing generator systems for existing customers
  • Performing preventative maintenance to ensure long-term system reliability
  • Supporting technicians with lighter service days or maintenance routes
  • Working hands-on with apprentices to build their electrical skills and confidence

 What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Lead installation of residential standby generator systems from start to finish
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service on generator systems
  • Complete residential electrical work including wiring, connections, and system upgrades
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards, code requirements, and company expectations
  • Communicate daily with office and operations teams regarding job status, challenges, and progress
  • Maintain organization of tools, materials, and vehicle inventory
  • Deliver a professional, high-quality customer experience with every job
  • Support Master Electrician with estimating process on an as needed basis

What You Bring (Experience)

  • Valid Electrical Journeyman License
  • Equivalent years of direct experience in electrical trade with strong knowledge of electrical codes
  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and concepts
  • Experience with generator systems or willingness to learn (training provided)
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
