Spin Physical Therapy is actively seeking a full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Hackensack, New Jersey. This position is based in our outpatient office in Hackensack, New Jersey, a vibrant community with easy access to various amenities. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies designed to enhance treatment effectiveness and patient comfort. As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, in a professional atmosphere that emphasizes continuous learning and collaboration.

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Spin Physical Therapy, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate their physical conditions, disabilities, and functional limitations.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each child's specific needs, goals, and potential outcomes.
• Applying appropriate therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress diligently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving conditions and goals.
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation strategies, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse pediatric population, including children with conditions such as developmental delays, orthopedic injuries, neuromuscular disorders, and sports-related injuries. You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with your patients and their families, playing a crucial role in their rehabilitation journeys.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, particularly as it relates to pediatric patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

While 2 years of experience in physical therapy is required, experience working specifically with pediatric clients or in an acute care setting will be highly regarded but is not mandatory.
