Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is designed to foster healing and functionality, featuring modern therapy equipment, spacious treatment areas, and designated rooms for evaluations and follow-up sessions. You will work onsite alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, chiropractors, and other therapy specialists, ensuring robust communication and collaboration throughout the patient care process. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patient strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans aimed at achieving specific patient goals, such as improving function, managing pain and enhancing mobility.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities—including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy—to treat patients effectively.
  • Provide clear, instructive guidance to patients and their families on exercise regimens and rehabilitation techniques that promote recovery and independence.
  • Regularly document patient progress, treatment plans, and modifications to care, ensuring all records are compliant with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards to maintain a secure and sanitized treatment environment.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and self-care techniques to minimize the risk of future injuries.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting treatment plans and patient interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of physical therapy experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation facility.
  • Experience working with a diverse population and familiarity with a broad spectrum of physical therapy techniques.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation and communication.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
