Job DescriptionCanvasser (Russian Speaking)

Department: Admissions / Marketing

Reports To: Director of Admissions or Admissions Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Location: On-Site / Field-Based

Position Summary

MSCT is seeking a motivated and outgoing Russian-Speaking Canvasser to support student recruitment efforts by engaging with prospective students in the local community. The Canvasser will represent the school at community events, local businesses, apartment complexes, and other high-traffic locations to generate qualified leads for the Admissions team.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Russian and English, enjoys interacting with people, and is passionate about helping individuals explore educational and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach

Conduct door-to-door and community canvassing in designated neighborhoods.

Engage prospective students and educate them about MSCT programs and career opportunities.

Distribute marketing materials, brochures, and promotional items.

Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and referral partners.

Attend community events, health fairs, and recruitment events.

Lead Generation

Generate qualified student leads through face-to-face interactions.

Collect accurate contact information from prospective students.

Schedule appointments for Admissions Representatives.

Ensure all leads are entered into the CRM accurately and promptly.

Follow lead-generation goals established by management.

Brand Representation

Represent MSCT professionally at all times.

Communicate program information accurately and ethically.

Maintain compliance with institutional policies and admissions regulations.

Never promise admission, financial aid, employment, or program outcomes.

Administrative Responsibilities

Complete daily activity reports.

Track outreach locations and results.

Maintain inventory of marketing materials.

Report community feedback and market trends.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

College coursework preferred.

Experience

Experience in customer service, sales, marketing, community outreach, or admissions preferred.

Experience working with diverse communities is a plus.

Language Requirements

Fluent in Russian (required).

Professional proficiency in English (required).

Skills & Competencies

Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.

Comfortable initiating conversations with new people.
