Job description

Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) seeks a full-time, mission-minded, board certified or eligible pulmonologist. The incumbent will join a high-quality, collegial, multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to whole-person, patient-centered care, in a welcoming environment for families. This is a unique lifetime, career opportunity for someone who seeks a full-spectrum pulmonary care practice, in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide inpatient consults and follow-ups
  • Conduct comprehensive pulmonary evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep disorders
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and pulmonary function tests
  • Perform bronchoscopies and manage other pulmonary procedures (as credentialed)
  • Collaborate with internal medicine, critical care, cardiology and emergency department teams for coordinated care
  • Diagnose and manage chronic respiratory conditions, promote preventive care and patient education for long-term disease management in clinic
  • No emergency department call required
