Who We Want:
This position maintains, repairs, and assists in upgrades of highly automated robotic and non-robotic equipment. The following processes may be encountered: resistance welding of steel and aluminum, projection welding, MIG welding, robotic dispensing applications of body sealant and adhesive, drawn arc stud welding, flow drill, and various rivet assembly equipment.
What You'll Do:
  • Read, interpret, and update electrical prints, wiring and ladder diagrams, schematics and other technical literature.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty controls systems with a multi-meter, oscilloscope, or other electrical testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Modify, write, and troubleshoot robot programs.
  • Participate in preventative actions where appropriate. Conducts corrective actions and perform problem solving analysis and reporting as required.
  • Ability to apply common sense and deal with a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Maintain and participate in housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.

When and Where:
This will be a 2nd Shift
1:00 PM EST-9:00 PM EST M-F position located at our Plant in Spartanburg, SC.
What You Need to Have:
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
  • Technical Skills - Can read and interpret electrical prints, wiring and ladder diagrams, schematics, and other technical literature. Ability to use multi-meter, oscilloscope, or other electrical testing equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot robot programs. Ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment. Proven mechanical and equipment repair skills.
  • Safety and Security - Observes safety, environmental, LOTO and procedural guidelines. Reports potentially unsafe equipment, materials, or situations to supervision or management.
  • Continuous Improvement - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses. Pursues training and development opportunities. Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills while sharing expertise with others.
