Full Time and Part Time | Day and Night Shifts Available
Per Diem | Day Shift
Pay between $44-$53/hour
(based on experience and shift differential)

St. Margaret's Center, an affiliate of the Center for Disability Services, is a 94-bed pediatric and young adult skilled nursing facility located in Albany, NY. Founded in 1883, we provide specialized long-term care for medically fragile infants, children, and young adults on a single dedicated campus.
Our team delivers advanced 24-hour medical care in a nurturing, home-like environment where residents can experience a full childhood - including school, activities, family time, and friendships.
Requirements for a Registered Nurse (RN) -
  • Current and valid New York State RN License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
What you'll do as a Registered Nurse (RN) -
  • Provide direct nursing care and treatment to individuals in assigned programs using appropriate clinical procedures and nursing practices.
  • Assess and monitor health care needs, responding to changes in condition as needed.
  • Evaluate individuals who become ill or injured, administer first aid, and coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, caregivers, and external providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in required training, professional development, and staff meetings in accordance with agency policies.
  • Monitor and maintain infection control and safety standards, following all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure nursing equipment is checked and functioning properly.
  • Document all health-related information in nursing notes and medical records.
  • Assist with staff occupational health responsibilities as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with program staff, service providers, and administration regarding changes in medical status or care needs.
