Neonatologist - Level-III NICU at a Leading Facility in Macon, GA
Looking for a rewarding Neonatology opportunity in beautiful Macon, Georgia? Join a dedicated team at a top-tier facility with a state-of-the-art Level-III NICU, offering a flexible 26-week schedule, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.   • Duration: Ongoing / Permanent role
  • Shift: 26 weeks per year—1 week on, 1 week off; daily rounding with on-call from home every other night
  • Hours per week: Full-time

  • Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in Georgia, Board Certification in Neonatology preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years Neonatology experience preferred

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide high-quality neonatal care in a Level-III NICU setting
  • Participate in daily patient rounds and manage a 66-bed unit
  • Use advanced techniques such as high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling
  • Collaborate with subspecialty support teams and experienced nurse practitioners
  • Contribute to academic activities with clinical appointments at Mercer Medical School
  • Engage in patient management for critically ill neonates
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols

What You Need:
  • Medical license and Eligibility to Practice in Georgia
  • Board Certification or eligibility in Neonatology
  • Minimum of 3+ years neonatal intensive care experience
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a high-acuity environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
