Job description

Physical Requirements:
Perform all duties in a safe and consistent manner.
  • Capable of pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of accurately performing Air & Slump test.
  • Capable of lifting and placing chutes as needed to asset drivers.
  • Capable of climbing equipment ladder and working off platform.
  • Capable of assisting Mixer Drivers with accurately testing loads per customer's request.
  • Capable of assisting Mixer Drivers in safely backing up to pumps and or around obstacles.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, check and fill fluids as required.
  • Work in changing seasonal Environment-Working hours based on seasonal demand.

Daily completion of applicable paperwork such as:
  • Complete Field Reports, with all pertinent information.
  • Data entry of Field Reports, Compressive and Flexural Strengths.
  • When required, generate QC report of customer's concrete complaints.
  • Correspond via email to internal company personnel.
  • Vehicle Inspection Report.

Driving:
  • Interstate, state and county highways, city streets, dirt roads and mine sites.
  • Operate truck in a safe and lawful manner.
  • When requested visit customer job site to evaluate truck accessibility.
  • When on job sites observe safe/unsafe conditions for trucks and personnel, then communicate with job site superintendents to address any unsafe issues.

General:
  • Follow defined Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Capable of locating delivery addresses and assisting Mixer Drivers in doing so.
  • Communicate directly with customers, contractors, mixer drivers, field testers and inspectors in a courteous, professional manner.
