About the Role:

The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a healthcare practice to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and optimal business performance. This position requires strategic leadership to manage staff, coordinate administrative functions, and implement policies that align with regulatory standards and organizational goals. The Practice Manager is responsible for fostering a collaborative environment that supports clinical teams and enhances patient satisfaction. They will analyze financial data, manage budgets, and drive initiatives to improve operational workflows and resource utilization. Ultimately, the role ensures the practice operates smoothly, complies with healthcare regulations, and delivers exceptional service to patients and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare practice management or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and medical billing processes.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and practice management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification such as Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE).
  • Experience managing multi-specialty practices or larger healthcare organizations.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and patient experience enhancement strategies.
  • Advanced financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue cycle management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the healthcare practice, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flow coordination.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate administrative and clinical staff to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, and expense control to maintain fiscal responsibility.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery and address operational challenges.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, insurance companies, and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Analyze practice performance metrics and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
