Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate regularly with physicians and healthcare providers to report on patient progress and address emerging concerns or issues related to treatment continuity.
  • Document accurate and timely clinical records and progress notes in alignment with departmental policies, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide counseling sessions and crisis intervention for patients, assessing emotional and behavioral issues, and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Consult with families and support systems to provide holistic treatment and coordinate discharge planning, maintaining open lines of communication about patient needs and progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to inform your therapeutic approach and enhance treatment effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve include individuals across a diverse spectrum of backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges. Your focus will be on empowering clients to confront and overcome personal obstacles such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Through your expertise, you will help facilitate personal growth and better coping mechanisms, leading to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field that underpins your capability to provide mental health therapy.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent credential that reflects your qualifications to practice in the mental health field.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time experience in providing mental health services, including clinical therapy and crisis intervention.
  • Strong skills in working independently, demonstrating self-direction, and maintaining a highly organized approach to managing caseloads.
  • Proficient computer skills encompassing clinical documentation software and MS Office applications to ensure smooth workflow and record-keeping.
Preferred Experience

Experience in a remote setting is preferred, along with familiarity in using telehealth platforms for therapy sessions. An understanding of various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
