Job description

Provider Liaison
Southwest Women's Oncology + Optimum Infusion | Albuquerque, New Mexico
Why This Role Matters
Referrals are the lifeblood of Southwest Women's Oncology and Optimum Infusion. Behind every referral is a relationship-and behind every relationship is a person who showed up, stayed present, and made it easy to say yes.
The Provider Liaison is that person. This role exists to ensure that every potential referring provider in New Mexico has an active, informed, and trusted relationship with Optimum-built one conversation at a time. No algorithm replaces a handshake. This is a field role for someone energized by human connection and motivated by measurable growth. We hire for attitude and aptitude above all else.
Who We Are
Southwest Women's Oncology (SWWO) is New Mexico's leading gynecologic oncology practice, delivering advanced cancer care with skill, courage, and compassion.
Optimum Human and Optimum Infusion extend that mission into performance medicine, infusion services, longevity, recovery, hormone optimization, medical weight loss, peptide therapies, hyperbaric medicine, aesthetics, and human performance.
Together, we operate as a single integrated platform committed to one mission: to deliver new possibilities in medical care, human performance, and health by uniting passion, knowledge, and precision into something greater than the sum of its parts.
What You'll Own
Provider Relationship Development
Visit physician offices, hospitals, clinics, and referral sources throughout New Mexico on a structured, consistent schedule. Build and maintain relationships with physicians, APPs, referral coordinators, and office managers-delivering educational materials and referral resources in a compelling, provider-centered way.
Outreach & Event Support
Support provider outreach initiatives from the Optimum Growth Agency marketing team. Attend provider events, CME programs, and community engagement activities as a representative of Optimum's mission and clinical excellence.
CRM & Market Intelligence
Track all activity, visits, and relationship notes in the CRM consistently and accurately. Gather intelligence on referral patterns, competitive activity, and provider needs-identifying barriers and opportunities and communicating insights back to marketing and leadership.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Align field activity with broader growth strategy by coordinating with marketing, operations, and clinical leadership. Surface provider feedback and field insights to inform campaign development, messaging, and service line priorities.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days
  • Territory mapped; provider priority list built and active in CRM.
  • First round of office visits completed; CRM logging established consistently.

First 6 Months
  • Consistent territory coverage with measurable increase in new provider relationships.
  • Active participation in provider events and CME programs.

First Year
  • Established presence with key referring providers across assigned territory.
  • Measurable contribution to referral growth by region; consistently embodying the Optimum Standard.

Success Metrics
  • Provider offices visited • New relationships established • Referral opportunities identified • CRM utilization and documentation quality • Territory coverage • Referral growth by region

Who Thrives Here
We want people who bring relentless positivity, a hunger to learn, and the drive to elevate everyone around them. You will likely thrive if:
  • You take ownership rather than waiting for direction.
  • You believe details matter.
  • You enjoy solving problems and seek continuous improvement.
  • You care deeply about patients and their families.
  • You value teamwork and accountability equally.
  • You're coachable, curious, and committed to mastery.

What You Bring
Required
  • 2+ years in healthcare sales, provider relations, pharmaceutical sales, or a comparable field-based relationship role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional relationships with physicians, APPs, and clinical office staff.
  • Highly self-directed and organized; able to manage a structured field schedule across a broad territory.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms for activity tracking and territory management.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for consistent field travel throughout New Mexico.

Preferred
  • Experience in oncology, specialty care, or infusion therapy provider relations.
  • Familiarity with referral workflows and the clinical handoff experience from a referring provider's perspective.

Our Culture
We act with courage and embrace accountability.
We serve with precision and hold ourselves to impeccable standards-then raise them.
We reject mediocrity and the comfort of "good enough."
We measure success not only by outcomes, but by the integrity, excellence, and humanity we bring to every interaction.
Way Better. Extraordinary by Design.
If you crave mastery, meaning, and measurable impact-welcome home.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary
  • Health benefits
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
  • Professional development and continuing education support
  • Opportunity to grow within the Optimum Platform

This is a full-time, field-based position serving the state of New Mexico, based out of Albuquerque.
