Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time pediatric rheumatologist. The rheumatology department provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Common diagnoses include juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, recurrent fever syndrome, vasculitis and dermatomyositis. Common procedures include joint injections and joint aspirations performed in conjunction with the pediatric sedation team.

Qualifications: • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required. • American Heart Association BLS and PALS. • Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date). • Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics. • Board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology.
