Full Job Description
TPC Group is actively seeking a Senior Oracle Applications Developer that will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing new ERP-related applications, as well as supporting and enhancing existing solutions using Oracle Developer, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, and other Oracle development tools. This role also involves working closely with business analysts, IT teams, consultants, and Oracle Support to diagnose and resolve production issues within the Oracle ERP system. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical thinking, effective troubleshooting abilities, and expertise in programming and unit testing. Additionally, exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential-particularly in documenting technical designs and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Customization and Development:

    • Develop and customize Oracle EBS modules using OAF components, PL/SQL, APEX application platform, Reports, and XML Publisher.
    • Create custom workflows and approval processes using Oracle Workflow Builder.
    • Familiar with AIM methodology
    • Experience with Jdeveloper

  2. Integration:

    • Implement integrations with third-party applications using APIs, FTP, and Web Services
    • Develop Custom Web ADI solutions to retrieve and load data using excel.

  3. Data Management:

    • Manage data migration and conversion tasks, often involving data extraction and transformation.
    • Write SQL scripts to query and manipulate data within Oracle databases.

  4. Support and Maintenance:

    • Provide ongoing support for existing EBS applications and resolve issues as they arise.
    • Conduct system testing and validation for new features and enhancements.

  5. Performance Tuning:

    • Identify and resolve performance issues in EBS applications.
    • Optimize PL/SQL code and SQL queries for better performance.

  6. Documentation and Training:

    • Create technical documentation for developed solutions.
    • Train end-users on new features and custom applications.

  7. Oracle Modules

    • Enterprise Asset Management, Order Management, Purchasing, Install Base, Inventory, in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2

Technical Skills
  • Deep knowledge of OAF components including View Objects, Application Modules, Entity Objects and Controller Updates
  • Familiarity with underlying technologies such as Java, XML, and JavaScript as they relate to OAF.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL, SQL, Java, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, JDeveloper

  • Experience with Oracle Database and related tools for performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of different versions of Oracle EBS (R12 and beyond) and their specific features.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of IT, Oracle, ERP Developer experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution.

Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and solve issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical concepts.
  • Guide junior developers and provide knowledge transfer sessions on best practices in Oracle development tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, Interpersonal and Analytical skills.
