  • Manage the server certificate lifecycle and support PKI certificate implementation as required.

  • Install, update, and maintain software packages on Linux virtual machines using manual processes and YUM repositories.

  • Ensure Linux systems remain compliant with current enterprise security requirements.

  • Support customer requests ranging from routine virtual machine modifications to large-scale infrastructure deployments and cluster builds.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate infrastructure configuration and system updates.

  • Monitor and support Kubernetes clusters using Rancher and kubectl to ensure cluster health, node availability, and application performance.

  • Collaborate with customers and development teams to support infrastructure requirements and ongoing operational needs.

  • Troubleshoot Linux operating systems, virtual machines, and infrastructure-related issues while maintaining system availability and performance.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.

  • All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category.

  • All diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions.

  • Candidates must meet one of the following qualification combinations:

    • Seven (7) years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED;

    • Five (5) years of relevant experience and an associate degree;

    • Three (3) years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree;

    • One (1) year of relevant experience and a master’s degree; or

    • Splunk certification in Splunk Accredited Core Implementation.

  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.

  • Experience with Ansible or infrastructure automation using Ansible.

  • Experience managing and securing virtual machines within enterprise environments, including STE/STN.

  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification.

Desired Skills

  • Experience administering CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

  • Experience managing PKI infrastructure and server certificates.

  • Experience supporting Kubernetes environments.

  • Experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2 and RDS.

  • Experience supporting OpenStack environments.

  • Experience administering VMware virtual infrastructure.

  • Experience using Git for source control, including push, pull, and commit operations.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative infrastructure team.
