Job description

Locum Tenens – CRNA Opportunity

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Position Type: Locum Tenens


Clinical Details
  • Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Call: Assigned by Chief

    • OR Call: From home

    • OB Call: In-house (currently no OB cases being performed)

  • Call Response Time: 20 minutes

  • Supervision: MDs onsite; little to no supervision

  • Daily Coverage: 18 providers

  • ORs/Facilities:

    • 9 ORs

    • 2 Endo Rooms

    • 1 CV Room

    • 1 Cath Lab Room

    • 1 IR Room

  • EMR: Cerner


Case Types
  • Included: Cardiac, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Vascular, GYN, Pediatrics, Urology, Acute Pain Management, Trauma

  • Excluded: OB (currently not active)

  • Skills Required: Proficient in spinals, blocks, and epidurals

  • Caselogs Required: Must provide proof of competency (epidurals, spinals, and blocks)

  • Preferred Experience: TEE/Heart


Credentialing and Requirements
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days (temps available for clean background/malpractice and active, unrestricted license)

  • Licensure:

    • Compact license accepted

    • Can work under compact license for 6 months with temp privileges

    • Must obtain Indiana RN license for full privileges after 6 months

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (must be through AHA)
