Entry-Level - Lockbox Transaction Processor
Dallas, TX
Pay $20.00/hr.
Temp-to-Hire Position

Job Description and Requirements
The ideal candidate is a fast learner willing to work in a detail-oriented, high-volume, deadline-driven lockbox payment environment.
Schedule
**Days and times are subject to change based on business growth and needs
  • Monday 8:30AM - 4PM
  • Tuesday 8:30 AM - 4 PM
  • Wednesday 8:30 AM - 4PM
  • Thursday 8:30 AM - 4PM
  • Friday 8:30 AM - 4PM

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma (proof required)
  • Be 18+ years of age and be able to work in the US (proof required)
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
  • Positions requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity and the ability to coordinate and organize work
  • Demonstrate good decision making and communication skills

Job Duties
May perform one or more of the following duties as determined by manager or business needs:
  • Responsible for timely and accurate lockbox processing while meeting productivity numbers (not limited to):
  • Slice/Count/Sort Mail - Receive and accurately distribute incoming mail
  • Batching - Open envelopes, extract transactions, batch checks, invoice, and coupons according to client instructions
  • Ability to accurately follow detailed client account instructions and process high volume
  • Scan documents/checks using OPEX Falcon high speed document scanner
  • Re-association of check images to corresponding back-up documents
  • Mail Out (pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source document)
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of assigned functions
  • Agile and proven ability to learn fast, continuously follow direction and adapt quickly
  • Shows strong adherence to the Code of Conduct, security protocol and operating procedures

Requirements
  • Prefer bank operations, item processing or related experience, but not required
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
  • Meet productivity goals, client deadlines and quality standards
  • Knowledge of 10-key, data entry, and balancing principles a plus, but not required
  • Customer service and communication skills preferred
  • Reliable and committed to work schedule, punctuality and attendance
  • Flexibility to work additional hours with little notice based on volume and/or vacation coverage
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Follow internal operational controls and adhere to banking industry regulations
  • Timely communication and escalation of problems or issues to management to avoid client impact
  • Support other operations and administrative functions as required
  • Contribute towards a positive, collaborative, and supportive workplace
