Job Description
Join a premier clinical laboratory where your work directly impacts patient care. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will perform analytical testing using established laboratory methodologies, prepare and analyze patient specimens, and ensure the accuracy and quality of diagnostic results. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative laboratory environment while supporting high-quality patient care through reliable clinical testing.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine laboratory testing using established analytical methodologies
  • Prepare patient specimens and perform analytical examinations and quality control testing
  • Operate laboratory instrumentation and perform preventive maintenance
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available
  • Accurately document testing activities while following laboratory safety and quality standards
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Bachelor's degree in Molecular Genetic Technology or completion of an accredited Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science program
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical laboratory experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures, specimen handling, quality control, and laboratory instrumentation
  • Preferred certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or other applicable certification through ASCP, ASHI, or AMT
