Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented person with a high technical aptitude and great communication skills in the Home Inspection field.  The candidate will need to be physically able to climb ladders, traverse small crawl spaces and stairs.  We are looking for continuous learner, who is humble, yet confident, and understands the importance of excellence. 
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Home Inspector to join our team. Our ideal candidate understands how to examine a property for damage, hazards, and other current or potential problems that may affect the new homeowner. The inspection process includes checking both the interior and exterior of the house, taking pictures of each area, and documenting any issues that are observed. Home Inspectors must also know how to evaluate all the major home systems, such as the electrical outlets and plumbing, appliances, including the water heater, to ensure they meet current coding and safety standards.
Home Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examine the exterior and interior of the structure for damage or potential risks
  • Take clear photos of each area of the house
  • Document your findings clearly
  • Create a report within the designated time frame
  • Perform all facets of home inspection
  • Document and communicate all findings clearly
  • Strive for continuous quality improvement

Home Inspector Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Inspector certification a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
