The H1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows U.S. companies to employ foreign workers in specialty occupations. Remote work for H1B holders is possible, but it requires compliance with specific Department of Labor (DOL) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations, such as updating the Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the remote work location.
