Ready to build a career in sports sales? As an Account Executive, you'll generate new revenue through outbound prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling across a variety of Detroit Pistons ticketing and premium experiences.


This role is designed for driven, competitive, and coachable individuals who want to grow. Through structured training, mentorship, hands-on experience, and ongoing coaching, you'll develop the skills needed to succeed in sales and build a long-term career in the sports and entertainment industry.


This is a 12-month immersive sales development program with performance-based opportunities for extension or advancement within the organization.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate new revenue through the sale of full-season memberships, partial plans, group outings, premium seating, suites, and loge boxes.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through high-volume outbound prospecting, including calls, email, social outreach, networking, events, and in-person appointments.
  • Conduct personalized tours and in-arena appointments at Little Caesars Arena to showcase seating and premium experiences.
  • Convert inbound single-game ticket inquiries into larger ticket packages and premium experiences through consultative selling.
  • Build and maintain accurate prospect and client records within the CRM.
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience throughout the sales process and on game/event days.
  • Develop creative outreach, referral, and sales strategies to generate new business.
  • Participate in sales training, coaching, and team meetings designed to strengthen your skills and accelerate your development.
  • Consistently achieve activity, revenue, and performance goals in a competitive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong desire to build a career in sales, sports, or entertainment.
  • Highly motivated, competitive, coachable, and resilient.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships, influence, and close business.
