Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ED experience.

Details
  • Work in a 55-bed Emergency Department unit
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • Uses Epic EMR for charting
Requirements
  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Current AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address
Additional Information
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions
  • Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
  • Carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
  • Navy scrubs required
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate depending on distance from the facility
