Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Home Health position in suburban Maryland requiring OASIS E and Homecare Homebase/Pointcare EMR experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details
  • Home health setting serving Montgomery County, Prince Georges County, Charles County, and St. Mary's County, MD
  • Clinicians are assigned to a group of zip codes within one county based on staffing needs
  • Floating to cover additional zip codes within the service area may be requested based on staffing availability and patient need
  • Caseload is based on a point system with a minimum average of 6 points per day (30 points per week), equating to approximately 3โ€“6 visits per day
  • Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00โ€“17:00
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Charting performed in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) / Pointcare EMR โ€” experience required
  • OASIS E assessments are part of the role
Requirements
  • Active MD RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of home health RN experience required
  • At least one prior travel assignment required โ€” first-time travelers will not be considered
  • OASIS E experience required
  • Homecare Homebase (HCHB) / Pointcare EMR experience required
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle with valid licensure and insurance in good standing
Additional Information
  • Personal vehicle is required for patient visits โ€” all home health clinicians use their own vehicles for daily patient visits
  • Mileage is reimbursed from the first to the last patient visit of the day
  • Local candidates within 60 miles of the service area are eligible to apply
  • 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
  • Any time off or scheduling requests should be disclosed upfront
