What is a from home digital nurse?

A From Home Digital Nurse is a registered nurse who provides healthcare services remotely using digital technology, such as video calls, chat, or phone consultations. They assess patient symptoms, offer medical advice, manage chronic conditions, and help coordinate care, all from their home office. This role allows nurses to support patients virtually, often for telehealth companies or healthcare providers, improving access to care for people who may not be able to visit a clinic in person.

How does a from home digital nurse typically collaborate with on-site healthcare teams to ensure patient care continuity?

From Home Digital Nurses work closely with on-site healthcare professionals by utilizing secure communication platforms, electronic health records, and regular case conferences.
