Job description

We’re seeking an Area Medical Director to oversee our general practice Vetco Total Care hospitals in our Austin and San Antonio markets.This is a non-clinical based role.

This role is WFH (work from home) on Mondays and Fridays with travel Tues - Thurs each week to the hospitals in your market. When visiting your hospitals, you'll facilitate 1:1s, mentor, coach, and support the hospital team.

Our Area Medical Directors are responsible for representing our mission and values while creating a positive culture, hiring and development of staff, driving hospital growth and delivering performance objectives. Additionally, through the guidance of Petco Veterinary Hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), they will ensure our hospitals practice a high standard of quality medicine and provide excellent patient care and client service.
