Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on design using Creo for part, assembly, and surfacing to generate concept models.
- Design sheet metal and plastic parts, ensuring practical application of GD&T.
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept to release, including ECN/PPAP involvement.
- Work independently on design conceptual jobs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers during development.
Required Skills:
- Strong Creo expertise with in-depth validation experience, including part, assembly, and especially surfacing.
- Clear automotive domain relevance, with experience in components and design cycles.
- Practical application of GD&T.
- Direct work on plastic, sheet metal, and casting components.
- Experience in end-to-end design ownership, from concept to release, including ECN/PPAP involvement.
- Knowledge of phases of the design process and development process for Automotive components, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, prototyping, ECN, PPAP, and documenting results.
