Quality Improvement Coordinator RN

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with flexibility based on department needs

Here's What You Need:
Current RN licensure upon hire Required
Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
Completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required.
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred OR
Master's Degree health-related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care setting required
1 year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred
CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality 3 years preferred
Microsoft Office skills, knowledgeable in the application of statistical data.
Prefer Knowledge of Joint Commission and standards, PI tools, Lean Principles and statistical analysis.
What You Will Do:
Pursues/achieves/maintains required applicable certification and licensure.
Pursues professional growth and development of required knowledge and skills
Promote stakeholder engagement and interprofessional collaboration to improve care processes, patient outcomes, and patient experience.
Communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences to support achievement of quality goals.
Implement standard performance and process improvement (PPI) methods.
Acquire data from source systems.
Use organizational procedures to identify and report patient safety risks and events.
Use knowledge of standards and regulations to facilitate and support continuous regulatory compliance, serving as a subject matter expert for others.
Monitor the impact of value-based payment initiatives and quality report cards
