Summary:

This Physical Therapist will provide coverage for our various Rehabilitation Clinics in Fort Worth, Hurst, and Mansfield, TX. (Mileage reimbursement from home clinic). The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient services, focusing on functional skills to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness, and injury. Evaluation, treatment, and home programming are provided for children with sports medicine and orthopedic injuries, brain injuries and neurological impairments, hematology and oncology disorders, musculoskeletal injuries or disorders, gross motor delays, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Responsibilities may also include evaluations for wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, as well as patient and caregiver education and consultation with other professionals, clinics, and agencies, both within Cook Children's Health Care System and within the community.

Flat Pay Rate: $51.50/hour

Hours/Schedule: Days/Hours will vary but our clinics operate M - F 7:30 am - 6 pm Mileage reimbursement for travel to outlying clinics.


Required Education, Certification & Licensure:

  • Master's Degree, DPT, or equivalent.

  • State license for physical therapy in TX (or eligible for licensure).

  • Pediatric Experience Preferred

  • Developmental and/or Sports Experience Preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
