The Cook accurately and efficiently prepares, portions, cooks, and presents a wide variety of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, portion, and cook a variety of hot and cold menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events.
  • Set up and maintain food preparation stations, ensuring all ingredients and tools are ready and organized for service.
  • Perform food preparation tasks such as mixing, chopping, slicing, steaming, grilling, and cold prep according to established standards.
  • Follow recipes and production sheets to ensure consistency, quality, and proper portion control for all menu items.
  • Operate and safely use all kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, steamers, mixers, and other food production tools.
  • Support tray line service by accurately plating and presenting meals in accordance with portion and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist with catering and banquet cooking, including preparing large quantities of food and meeting event timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing dishes, cleaning stations, and following proper cleaning procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with inventory control, and report shortages or needs to ensure continuous kitchen operations.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to support smooth kitchen operations and timely meal service.
  • Follow instructions from culinary leadership and adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen policies.
Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits
