REPORTS TO:
Director of Technology or designee
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma (minimum), additional schooling preferred
  • Related technical certifications preferred
  • Experience with Chrome, Apple Mac and Windows OS platforms
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.

JOB GOAL:
To ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the District's technology equipment
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Perform assembly, installation and configuration of computers, workstations, printers, and other equipment throughout the school district
-Assist in diagnosing and resolving OS issues and other software-related installations and problems throughout the school district
-Maintain and repair various models of Chromebooks
-Setup, maintenance, repair and basic operation of Promethean Panels
-Provide assistance to teachers, administrators and other staff as needed in each school
-Support and repair Apple and Microsoft OS and Mac and Windows platform computers
-Comply with and support all network and computer-related procedures and security systems
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary will be in accordance with the current KEOPA contract.
ANNUAL EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluations.
