Job Overview:
The responsibility of the CNC Operator is to process molded parts through their area efficiently while paying attention to quality within the established procedures.
Wage is $19.00 + $1.00 Differential
2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must meet or exceed all training requirements including those related to ISO standards and attends scheduled shift meetings or other required meetings.
  • Review production priorities.
  • Troubleshoot potential CNC problems
  • Clean, polish/buff, and vacuum parts as specified
  • Cut or route holes/handles are required
  • Torch parts per specifications
  • Install components such as handles on parts, etc.
  • Ensure labels/graphics are correctly affixed on parts.
  • Meets or exceeds production targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to read and write proficiently in English
  • Ability to read prints and specifications
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • CNC Programming preferred
  • Computer experience preferred

Education and Experience
  • 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferred
  • High School Diploma

Working Conditions
Able to work in hot humid environment for extended periods of time.
This job is in a typical manufacturing environment, to include, but not limited to:
  • Ovens, torches, and rotating tools
  • Forklifts and other moving machinery
  • Loud work environment

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain stationary with intermediate walking throughout the shift. Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds alone and parts more than 50 pounds with assistance and must be able to transport these up to 20 feet.
  • Frequently positions self to maneuver around the parts, materials, and molds. Must be able to operate the hand and tools and write legible.
