Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, related alloys, and mechanical grade plastic. Our products include plate, sheet and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace and commercial markets.


Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC has three main distribution and processing facilities located strategically in Pennsylvania, California, and Oklahoma, with many transfer stations and sales offices throughout the East and West coasts allowing a nationwide presence and coverage.


Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Summary:


Operate waterjet to process high quality products. Utilize CAD to refine customer preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Use CAD/CAM software to finalize designs from customer's preliminary drawings and diagrams to determine dimensions and tolerances for finished product.
  • Operate waterjet to accurately complete customer orders
  • Read job specifications to determine and maintain machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
  • Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
  • Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software
  • Math skills including fractions and decimals
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EnRoute software
  • Hands on waterjet and/or laser cutter experience
  • ERP computer system experience a plus
  • High School Diploma/GED
