This can include flight planning, safety briefings, training, and administrative duties conducted virtually. While actual piloting still requires being present with the aircraft, many support and preparatory functions can be performed remotely, especially with advancements in technology. These pilots play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient transport for Chevron’s operations, often in the energy or oil and gas sectors.
