Job description

We are seeking a full time detail-oriented, customer-focused Auto Body Estimator to join our fast-paced repair family owned facility. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, evaluating vehicle collision damage, translating technical data into accurate repair plans. Managing communications with insurance companies, customers and auto technicians to ensure safe manufacturer-compliant vehicle repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Damage Assessment: Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify body, frame, paint, and structural damage.
  • Estimate Creation: Utilize CCC ONE software to write precise, detailed line-item repair quotes.
  • Insurance Liaison: Manage Direct Repair Programs (DRP), navigate carrier guidelines, and submit supplemental documentation for hidden damage approvals.
  • Client Advisory: Greet customers, explain mechanical and structural repair timelines, and collect final payments.
  • Parts ordering:  Utilizing Parts Trader and other platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of writing collision estimates in a shop environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Mastery of CCC ONE estimating software is strictly required.
  • Certifications: I-CAR Platinum or ASE credentials are high preferred (or a willingness to complete training).
  • Skills: Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
