Job description

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Assistant to join our team in Hartland, MI. This role involves providing essential in-home support to our clients, helping them maintain a comfortable and safe living environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve through attentive care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to help reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
  • Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisory team promptly.
  • Follow care plans and ensure all care and services are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients and their families.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in home care or a related field is an advantage, but NOT required.
  • Ability to perform household tasks and assist with physical mobility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a MUST.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job locations in Hartland, MI is a plus.
  • Ability to pass background checks.
