This job is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for transforming member, product and marketing performance data into actionable insights that empower marketing teams and drive strategic growth for the Credit Union.
What you'll do
  • Manage aspects of Marketing campaign data setup including: developing and executing complex SQL queries, extracting and analyzing data from SQL, loading/transferring into CRM tool, managing automation processes, monitoring the delivery of data inputs, and managing the data structure in all required systems (CRM/Data Warehousing and Reporting Solutions)
  • Maintain an accurate and rapid test/control targeting strategy for multi-channel marketing, providing analysis and reporting services
  • Synthesize current data and trend data to support strategy recommendations through various marketing analytics models, creating insights and recommendations to optimize campaign performance
  • Design, automate and optimize recurring reporting processes and data workflows to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
  • Work with technology, quality assurance and training teams to ensure system releases and offer programming are correctly set up, tested and communicated to the front line
  • Utilize experience with data visualization to generate standard or custom reports that summarize marketing data for review by executives, managers and other stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity
  • Handle vendor management related to databases, research providers and any third-party data suppliers
  • Support ad hoc programs and projects, as needed
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics. Marketing or a quantitative field, or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Three years' of experience in similar or related field
  • Experience in Project Management with timelines/project team supervision
  • Experience in researching and implementing new CRM systems
  • Experience with Jack Henry and/or knowledge of Symitar

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
  • Skilled in advanced spreadsheet modeling, pivot tables, lookups and data analysis techniques in Mircosoft Excel for reporting and business analysis
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of effective segmented, targeted marketing and relational databases
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse Systems, CRM and Microsoft Access databases, with solid knowledge of SQL query structures
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and KPI reporting methodologies
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and present actionable insights to business stakeholders and leadership
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills and appropriate telephone etiquette and techniques
  • Ability to stay apprised of the latest technological advances within a CRM and related business systems
  • Ability to effectively interface with all staff levels and third-party vendors
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and effective time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to project a positive attitude and exercise sound problem-solving skills
  • Ability to attend and support team events and member promotion/outreach events
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
  • Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
