Independence Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a large, collaborative, multidisciplinary cardiovascular team. This hospital-based position includes shared responsibility for inpatient rounding at Westmoreland, Latrobe, and Frick Hospitals and has no outpatient responsibilities. Full-time employment is preferred; however, part-time or casual candidates will be considered.Physician shares weekday/weekend call and delivers guideline-directed care aligned with ACC/AHA standards.

Work-life balance is supported through a hospital-based schedule with no outpatient clinic responsibilities and shared call coverage across the team.

Individuals early on in their career and experienced Cardiologist are encouraged to apply The selected physician will share weekday and weekend call responsibilities with partners. The ideal candidate will have expertise in non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics, including echocardiography, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, and nuclear cardiology, and will practice guideline-directed, evidence-based care aligned with ACC/AHA standards. Experience interpreting coronary CT and cardiac MRI is welcomed but not required.

This role includes participation in multidisciplinary cardiovascular initiatives, quality improvement activities, and shared call coverage, with an emphasis on high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care and clinical leadership. The cardiologist will work closely with a comprehensive team of interventional and structural cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, and experienced advanced practice providers.
