Physician Assistant - Trauma and Acute Care Surgery

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado is excited to welcome a skilled Physician Assistant to its dynamic Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team as a full-time Nocturnist, playing a key role in providing advanced overnight surgical and trauma care within one of Colorado's leading high-acuity medical centers.

Job Description: The Physician Assistant will:

  • Provide full-spectrum trauma and acute care surgical services during overnight shifts.
  • Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery, and inpatient care.
  • Perform evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Maintain all documentation and clinical workflows in Epic EMR.
  • Practice autonomously and handle multiple complex tasks appropriately.
  • Support quality, safety, and performance metrics of the Trauma Surgery service.
  • Engage in professional development and potential leadership opportunities via UCHealth OAP.

Not doing any locums or locum to perm. UCHealth clears names system-wide. Visa sponsorship not available (No J-1 or H-1B visas accepted). Not accepting fresh graduates (must have two (2) years of trauma surgery experience or the completion of a surgical fellowship is highly preferred).
