To fulfill the duties and responsibilities of this role, you may use tests to assess how fluent each student is, use conversational techniques to help build vocabulary, and otherwise assist each student with any areas in which they are having trouble. French tutors often work with individual students, but you may occasionally tutor larger groups instead. Employers may also ask you to work with students with various levels of experience, so the ability to adjust lessons based on the capabilities of each student is essential to your success in this role.

A French tutor helps students learn the French language by providing personalized instruction, practice, and feedback. They may assist with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing, and conversation skills, adapting their methods to each student's level and goals.
