French Qsr Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

At The Melt, we do things differently. We are hiring highly experienced General Manager and Assistant Manager from within the QSR or Fast Casual food service industry for Assistant Manager roles at our upcoming new restaurant location at UCLA. At The Melt, assistant Manager earn Tips which average $450 for each 4-week operating period. Assistant Managers are also Bonus Incentive eligible and can earn up to $7500 annually paid out based on restaurant performance every 6.50 weeks. At The Melt, highly experience General Managers and Assistant Manager will complete 6-8 of Paid MIT Training and then service in the role of an Assistant Manager for one year and at the point in time be considered for a General Manager role.   At The Melt, we believe in challenging the stereotypes and roadblocks associated with some QSR, Fast Casual, and Food Service careers. Position Description

Title: Assistant Manager

Reports To: General Manager

As a primary management team member, the Assistant Manager works directly with the General Manager in the overall operations of the store. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant Manager acts as store leader in the absence of the General Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Leads Crew Team

•              Leads and directs Crew shifts acting as manager-in-charge of store

•              Partners with General Manager to coach, counsel and direct Crew Members

•              Ensures a positive team environment and maintains a calm professional demeanor always

•              Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to Crew to ensure operational excellence and to improve Crew performance

•              Participates in the staff planning, interviewing and hiring process for new Crew Members

Leads Service Excellence

•              Ensures “I Love It Here” experience for every guest

•              Ensure standards are consistently met for speed of service, order accuracy, product quality, and store cleanliness

•              Handles problem resolution with composure while living The Melt values

•              Inspires, motivates, and coaches Crew Members to their very best performance

Leads Profitable Operations

•              Executes opening and closing duties – opening shift, shift change, and closing shift procedures

•              Ensure food quality, food safety and store cleanliness.

•              Follows all health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

•              Manages to shift schedule and utilizes deployment tools to maximize shift performance

•              Manages inventory needs by ordering, receiving and storing items according to procedures

•              Follows cash management and cash register policies and ensures all Crew always follow procedures

Qualifications

Must be Happy and Positive with a collaborative leadership style

Must have at least 1-2 years of Restaurant Management experience within The Fast Casual, QSR or Mid-Scale Casual Dining segment.

Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and the leadership skills to build and be part of a team

Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Must have exceptional work ethic

Must be 16 to apply

Must be available to work 40-50 hours per week, including weekends.

Must develop and maintain effective working relationships

Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and the to work as part of a team
