Position Overview

French Capital Management is seeking a motivated, professional, and personable Lead Follow-Up & Appointment agent to connect with individuals who have expressed interest in financial planning, investing, retirement, or other financial needs.

The primary responsibility of this position is to follow up with leads via phone and other approved communication methods, understand their general needs, maintain consistent contact, and schedule qualified prospects for consultations with a financial advisor.

This is a relationship-building and appointment-setting role. The ideal candidate is comfortable making outbound calls, following up persistently without being pushy, and keeping accurate records of every interaction in our CRM.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Contact & Follow-Up

  • Contact new leads promptly after they express interest in our services.
  • Make outbound phone calls to prospective clients and follow up with leads who have not yet responded.
  • Establish a friendly, professional relationship with prospects.
  • Ask questions to understand the prospect's general financial needs, goals, and reason for contacting French Capital Management.
  • Follow up with prospects periodically according to the company's lead follow-up process.
  • Re-engage older or previously unresponsive leads when appropriate.
  • Maintain consistent communication without being overly aggressive or "salesy."

Appointment Setting

  • Identify prospects who are interested in discussing their financial situation in greater detail.
  • Schedule consultations with Jason French.
  • Clearly communicate the purpose of the consultation and help the prospect understand what to expect.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments and help reduce no-shows through appropriate reminders.
  • Reschedule appointments when necessary.

CRM & Lead Management

  • Accurately document every call, conversation, outcome, and follow-up activity in the CRM.
  • Keep lead information and contact status up to date.
  • Create or maintain appropriate follow-up tasks in accordance with the company's lead-management process.
  • Follow the company's established lead conversion and follow-up SOPs.
  • Ensure no qualified lead is forgotten or left without a next step.

Team Communication

  • Communicate important information about prospects to Jason and the team.
  • Provide notes regarding the prospect's interests, concerns, timing, and reason for seeking financial guidance.
  • Coordinate closely with Jason regarding scheduled consultations.
  • Escalate questions or situations that require a financial professional's involvement.

What This Role Is NOT

This position is primarily focused on lead engagement, relationship building, follow-up, and appointment setting.

The employee is not expected to provide individualized financial advice, make investment recommendations, or act as a financial advisor unless separately licensed and authorized to do so.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is:

  • Confident and comfortable speaking with people on the phone.
  • Friendly, professional, and personable.
  • A good listener who can ask thoughtful questions.
  • Persistent and comfortable with follow-up.
  • Organized and disciplined about completing assigned tasks.
  • Comfortable making multiple outbound calls each day.
  • Able to build trust with prospects without using high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Detail-oriented when documenting conversations and updating the CRM.
  • Comfortable learning and following a structured sales process.
  • Motivated by helping people take the next step toward addressing their financial needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in inside sales, appointment setting, lead generation, customer service, financial services, insurance, real estate, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Experience making outbound phone calls.
  • Experience working with a CRM such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Experience managing a pipeline and scheduled follow-up tasks is a plus.
  • Financial services experience is helpful but not required.
  • Securities or insurance licenses are not required for the appointment-setting portion of this role, but any licensing requirements will depend on the specific responsibilities assigned.
