Patrol / Control Desk Officer - Fremont Full-Time | $24.69/hour
Job Overview
Prosegur Security is hiring a hybrid Patrol / Control Desk Officer for a premier corporate campus in Fremont, CA. This dual-function role splits time between active physical foot patrols and managing the campus Control Desk-monitoring CCTV, managing automated alarms, handling post dispatching, and controlling access systems.
Shift Schedule: • Wednesday - Sunday (11pm-7am)
Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties:
• Control Desk Operations: Monitor multi-screen CCTV camera systems, respond to alarm panels, and operate the Lenel 9000 access control system in real time.
• Access & Badge Management: Process access permissions, manage badge activity, and process electronic access requests.
• Dispatch & Communications: Answer incoming calls from interior guard posts, site employees, and clients; dispatch patrol officers and field personnel accordingly.
• Active Physical Patrols: Conduct thorough interior and exterior foot patrols across campus facilities to identify safety hazards, security breaches, and policy violations.
• Incident Escalation & Reporting: Initiate formal emergency escalation procedures, notify site leadership during critical events, and generate detailed electronic incident reports.
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional, approachable demeanor while enforcing site security rules and assisting visitors and staff.

Qualifications & Critical Skill Sets:
• Valid California Security Guard License (Required).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of contract security experience.
