Material Handler, 2nd Shift (2026-091)

Location Redmond, WA

Description

Astronics AES is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Redmond, WA .

This is an onsite position on 2nd shift, working Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. in the facility.

JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines

  • Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.

  • Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)

  • Perform daily cycle counts

  • Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training

  • May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries

  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position)

Competencies:

  • Comprehension - Understand and apply information conveyed in written and oral methods

  • Communication - Communicate information and ideas, written and verbal, so others will understand

  • Problem Sensitivity - Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem and notifying appropriate people.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Quarterly Profit Sharing Bonus eligible .
