Job description

Freight Breakers is looking for motivated and dedicated team members in Romeoville!


Overview: Our material handlers primarily assist with unloading and loading boxes from trailers. This is a production-based position.


Responsibilities:
- Move pallets to/from staging area with pallet jack
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow receiving/shipping policies and procedures.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
- Follow attendance policies and call-off procedures.

-Needs to meet standard requirements as unloading 2/3 trucks daily 

Requirements:

- Must be 18 or older
- Reliable transportation 

- Must have steel toe shoes 
- Must be present and on time for all scheduled shifts
- Must be able to lift and carry 50-150LBS (team lifts) 
- Must be able to work consistently for long periods of time
- Must be able to perform at or above production standards (after training) 2/3 trucks daily or more ! 

- Must be able to work overtime when needed.
