Company rating: 3.1 out of 10

Based on 7 frontline employees who took The Breakroom Quiz

Job description

Stord is The Consumer Experience Company, powering seamless checkout through delivery for today's leading brands. Stord is rapidly growing and is on track to double our revenue in the next 18 months. To meet and exceed this target, Stord is strategically scaling teams across the entire company, and seeking energetic experts to help us achieve our mission.

By combining comprehensive commerce-enablement technology with high-volume fulfillment services, Stord provides brands a platform to compete with retail giants. Stord manages over $10 billion of commerce annually through its fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and operator-built software suite including OMS, Pre- and Post-Purchase, and WMS platforms. Stord is leveling the playing field for all brands to deliver the best consumer experience at scale.

With Stord, brands can increase cart conversion, improve unit economics, and drive sustained customer loyalty. Stord's end-to-end commerce solutions combine best-in-class omnichannel fulfillment and shipping with leading technology to ensure fast shipping, reliable delivery promises, easy access to more channels, and improved margins on every order.

Hundreds of leading DTC and B2B companies like AG1, True Classic, Native, Seed Health, quip, goodr, Sundays for Dogs, and more trust Stord to deliver industry-leading consumer experiences on every order. Stord is headquartered in Atlanta with facilities across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Stord is backed by top-tier investors including Kleiner Perkins, Franklin Templeton, Founders Fund, Strike Capital, Baillie Gifford, and Salesforce Ventures.

The Parcel Experience BI Analyst sits at the intersection of data and operations - translating parcel performance data into decisions that reduce cost, improve delivery outcomes, and strengthen client relationships. This is a hybrid role: part analyst building the dashboards and models that power Stord's parcel intelligence programs, part embedded partner for brands who need someone who can explain what the data means and act on it. You'll own the analytical layer of the Parcel Experience team, with direct responsibility for client-facing cost and service analysis, and the BI infrastructure that supports both.

What You'll Do

Analytics & BI

  • Build, maintain, and enhance parcel performance dashboards and reports in Omni, covering delivery performance, carrier service levels, cost per shipment, dim weight and box utilization, and exception rates.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, join, and structure data from Stord's TMS, WMS, and OMS systems.
  • Support the Delivery Intelligence program - including DPMP (defects per million parcels) and Carrier Service Performance Program (CSPP) analysis - to surface carrier outliers and drive corrective action.
  • Analyze carrier and client rate structures to identify cost savings opportunities, freight optimization levers, and service-to-cost tradeoffs.
  • Automate repeatable reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reporting cadence.
  • Collaborate with the data and technology teams to improve data structures, maintain integrity across parcel data sources, and build toward more scalable analytics infrastructure.

Parcel Experience & Brand Ownership

  • Serve as the analytical contact for Stord's brands on quantitative parcel matters - QBRs, cost reviews, carrier performance discussions, and issue escalations.
  • Develop deep familiarity with each brand's parcel configuration, shipping profile, and carrier setup within OMS/WMS/TMS.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations that clients and internal stakeholders can act on - not just dashboards, but a point of view.
  • Partner cross-functionally with CX, Implementations, Finance, and Carrier Strategy to resolve issues that cut across teams.
  • Identify operational blockers - carrier configuration gaps, routing inefficiencies, service mismatches - and drive them to resolution.
  • Support client onboarding and go-live readiness from a parcel analytics and configuration standpoint.

What You'll Need

  • 3-5 years of experience in parcel data analysis, business intelligence, or supply chain/logistics analytics.
  • Familiarity with parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, regional carriers) and how carrier rate structures work.
  • Strong SQL skills - you're writing queries against real systems, not just pulling pre-built reports.
  • Proficiency in at least one BI tool; Omni, Domo, Tableau, or Power BI experience all translate. Willingness to work primarily in Omni.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating and understanding OMS/WMS/TMS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize operational data into a recommendation - not just a chart.
  • Experience in a client-facing or account management capacity, ideally in logistics, 3PL, or e-commerce operations.
  • Strong communication skills - you'll present findings to clients and to internal leadership, and the audience changes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Python or R for analysis beyond what SQL and BI tools can do alone.
  • Prior experience in a 3PL or e-commerce fulfillment environment.
