Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology
Tulsa, OK
Starting at $29.80/hour
Direct Hire | Full-Time
Monday – Friday | Days | 8: 00 AM – 5: 30 PM
$2, 500 Sign-On Bonus (1-year commitment)
Make a Difference in the Lives of Oncology Patients
A leading Tulsa-area healthcare organization is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its Oncology team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends.
If you' re passionate about building relationships with patients throughout their cancer journey and have experience with chemotherapy or infusion services, we' d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications through IV and intramuscular routes as ordered.
  • Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor patients during infusion treatments and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
  • Coordinate patient care, including triage calls, scheduling, and hospital admissions.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care.
  • Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses within the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications
Required
  • Current and unrestricted Oklahoma or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Oncology nursing experience required.
  • Infusion and chemotherapy administration experience required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
