RN Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Weekend Supervisor at the Cartersville Center for Nursing and Healing in Cartersville, Georgia. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the exceptional care and well-being of our patients and residents. You will supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff on weekends, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff on weekends, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, including scheduling, assignments, and task delegation

  • Monitor patient care and provide feedback and coaching to staff as needed

  • Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accrediting bodies, and company policies

Requirements:

  • Current Georgia RN license

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient care and leadership

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
