LED Crew Chief | Lead Touring Productions. Power Large-Scale Live Events. Deliver Exceptional Visual Experiences
LMG Touring & Entertainment is seeking a Full-Time LED Crew Chief to support touring productions and large-scale live events. This role is ideal for an experienced touring professional who thrives in amphitheater, arena, and stadium environments and is looking for consistent, long-term opportunities with an industry-leading production team.
This position combines hands-on touring responsibilities with technical preparation and system oversight, ensuring LED systems are executed at the highest level from planning through final show delivery.

What You'll Be Doing
As an LED Crew Chief, you will lead LED system execution across touring productions and live events while ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and operational excellence.
• Touring Leadership - Serve as the LED Crew Chief on touring productions and large-scale live events
• System Execution - Lead onsite LED system setup, configuration, troubleshooting, operation, and strike
• Technical Collaboration - Work closely with Technical Project Managers and Engineering teams to translate show designs into real-world system deployments
• System Planning - Review technical drawings, pixel maps, signal flow documentation, and equipment packages for accuracy and readiness
• Warehouse Preparation - Oversee warehouse prep, testing, and custom system builds for touring productions
• Crew Management - Direct onsite crews and freelance labor while maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety standards
• Performance Oversight - Ensure reliable system performance throughout all phases of production
• Documentation Support - Assist with show advancement, reporting, and post-show documentation as needed
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of touring LED experience in arena and/or stadium environments
• Proven experience in a lead or Crew Chief role on complex touring productions
• Strong understanding of LED processing systems including Brompton, Novastar, and EVision
• Knowledge of video signal flow, networking, rigging integration, and power distribution for LED systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, pixel maps, and ground plans
• Experience working with major LED product lines including ROE, Unilumin, and InfiLED
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, VectorWorks, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in demanding production environments
